Front-End Lead – Vue.js | Dublin | Hybrid | €80-82.5k + Benefits

We're working with a rapidly scaling tech company in Dublin that’s on the lookout for a Front-End Lead to take charge of their UI function. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, agile environment and has a real passion for modern front-end architecture.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead a small but growing front-end team, mentoring developers and setting the technical direction.

• Own the design and delivery of front-end solutions built primarily with Vue.js (Vue 3, Composition API).

• Collaborate closely with design, backend, and product teams to ensure seamless user experiences.

• Define and enforce front-end best practices, performance optimisation, and maintainability standards.

• Drive component library development and UI consistency across the platform.

Key Requirements:

• 5+ years of front-end development experience, with at least 1–2 years in a leadership or senior mentoring capacity.

• Expert in Vue.js and modern JavaScript (ES6+).

• Strong understanding of TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3/SASS.

• Familiarity with state management tools (e.g., Vuex, Pinia).

• Comfortable working with RESTful APIs, and ideally GraphQL.

• CI/CD exposure and testing frameworks like Jest, Cypress, or Vitest.

• Experience with component libraries or design systems (e.g., Storybook).

Nice to Have:

• Exposure to tools like Webpack/Vite, Docker, or cloud environments (AWS, GCP).

• Understanding of accessibility (WCAG) and performance optimisation.
